right on the beach, this hotel has a fun antique car / 50's theme that
puts you right in the mood for a carefree vacation. There are 225 spacious
rooms that were newly renovated in 2002. The lobby sets the stage for
a party with its black and white tile floor, 50's diner and bar. Antique
cars from the 1950s are parked throughout the lobby and have even been
made into booths where you can snack on burgers, wings and more. A second
bar is by the beachside pool with its pretty patio, lounge chairs and
umbrellas. The famous South Beach Art Deco district is only 20 minutes
away. The Nirvana Spa, a world-class spa and wellness center, opened this
year. It features more than 20 varieties of massage therapy, chiropractic
care, yoga, personal training and a variety of beauty and skin treatments.
A 54 acre park is next door.
